Community Harvest Food Bank is collecting items such as those listed below to distribute to men, women and children living with hunger throughout our nine-county service area. Please bring donations to Community Harvest during business hours, or check the list of current food drives and donate then!

Macaroni or Pasta Tuna Helper Disposable Diapers (All Sizes)
Spaghetti Sauce Instant Mashed Potatoes Soap
Noodles Macaroni & Cheese Deodorant
Saltine crackers Sugar Shampoo & Conditioner
Flour Boxed Meals Clothes Detergent
Canned Fruits & Veggies Hearty Soups Canned Meats

 

 

ORGANIZING A FOOD DRIVE

This information is provided to you by Community Harvest Food Bank to guide you as you prepare your food drive. All food and non-food donations are appreciated and will help a family in need. If your group would like to try organizing a food drive please consider the following helpful hints:

  •  Start with a group meeting to decide what goals you want to accomplish.
  •  Set a realistic goal and aim to exceed that goal.
  •  Pick the best location for the barrels.
  •  Set the timeline for your drive, remember make it manageable and realistic.
  •  Consider doing a non-food drive for such items as diapers, formula, and personal care items.
  •  Contact media to raise public awareness of your food drive.
