ORGANIZING A FOOD DRIVE
This information is provided to you by Community Harvest Food Bank to guide you as you prepare your food drive. All food and non-food donations are appreciated and will help a family in need.
If your group would like to try organizing a food drive please consider the following helpful hints:

  •  Start with a group meeting to decide what goals you want to accomplish.

  •  Set a realistic goal and aim to exceed that goal.

  •  Pick the best location for the barrels.

  •  Set the timeline for your drive, remember make it manageable and realistic.

  •  Consider doing a non-food drive for such items as diapers, formula, and  personal care items.

  •  Contact media to raise public awareness of your food drive.

Contact Larry Stanfield at (260) 447-3696 ext. 311
for answers to questions and to arrange for
Community Harvest barrel(s) for your drive.
