Virtual Food Drive? What is it....and why is it?                         

First, the WHY?

■ The purchasing power of Community Harvest is such that for every
    $1 donated we are able to purchase $8 - $15 in food product for
    distribution. We are sure you will agree this is good stewardship.

 ■ Considering the roller coaster cost of gasoline and diesel fuel, NOT
     delivering the donation to community Harvest (you) or NOT sending
 a truck for a food drive pick up (us) means savings of  time and
money for both of us. Now, do we really need more whys? So..

WHAT IS IT?

■ An internet based program that allows you to shop from your desk
    (or wherever it is that you keep your computer), choose your items
    and have the total automatically tallied and charged to your credit
    card, safely and securely,  (after you click OK, of course).

■ Every penny received by Community Harvest through this virtual   
food drive will be used for the purchase of food items needed the
most and that are available at the time of your donation.
