Canstruction® 2026 is Here!
Canstruction® Fort Wayne is back for 2026 at Glenbrook Square Mall, presented by Community Harvest Food Bank and Brotherhood Mutual! Seven amazing schools are competing this year, and you can vote right here for People’s Choice Award when the build day arrives. All proceeds will benefit hunger relief throughout northeast Indiana, and we wish all participating schools the best of luck in this competition!
Canstruction is a creative community event where teams build large-scale sculptures out of canned food, combining art, engineering, and service. Participants design and construct eye-catching structures using hundreds or thousands of donated cans, which are then judged and displayed for the public. After the exhibit, all of the food is distributed to families through the food bank and other community partners, turning the project into a fun and impactful way to raise awareness about hunger while directly supporting those in need.
Event Dates: April 24 (build day) through May 3 (tear down)
Event Theme: “CANimals”
Once voting begins, simply click your favorite school below to cast your vote. $1 = 1 vote, and each dollar donated will provide four meals to a family struggling to put food on the table. The school with the most votes receives the “Peoples’ Choice Award” and a check for $1,000. Thank you for your support!
Voting is open April 24 through May 4 for People’s Choice Award. Stay tuned for photos of the builds!
