Grains of Hope with GnomeTown Brewing and Community Harvest Food Bank

Grains of Hope is a collaborative initiative with northeastern Indiana craft breweries to help fight hunger in the communities we share and love. For this next chapter in the initiative, Community Harvest has partnered with GnomeTown Brewing, working together to produce a beer that we hope can start a conversation with craft beer lovers, brewers, and anyone else looking to get involved with the mission of hunger relief. Over time, we hope to see more businesses, breweries or otherwise, eager to join the conversation on how we can get creative in our fight against hunger. Have an idea? Reach out. We’d love to grab a beer and talk.

The purchase of every glass or can of Grains of Hope from GnomeTown donates $1 to Community Harvest in our mission to alleviate hunger. Your patronage and support help the breweries that partner with us continue to do so, and the proceeds offset the cost of donated and/or purchased food that is distributed directly to those in need throughout our nine county service area.

For this collaboration, we chose a Black IPA. It’s an uncommon style that forces us a little outside of the box, but also, it’s rad, so we wanted to make one! The beer will be released at GnomeTown Brewing Co. OTL (118 W Columbia St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802) on Thursday, January 11 at 4:00pm. Come see us and grab a beer for a good cause!

Keep an eye out for more Grains of Hope brews in the coming months. The struggle with hunger in our community is ongoing, and thus so are our partnerships and efforts to help. Talk to your favorite breweries and follow us and them on social media to keep on top of what’s coming next and where you can find it.
